Clarity

Walk into your first therapy session already understood.

Clarity is a hackathon build that helps you prepare for therapy. You talk through whatever's on your mind and it sorts everything into a summary, a short reflection, therapist matches, and a one-page prep sheet, plus a bit of practice conversation. Built with Next.js and OpenAI, with demo data only and no real bookings.

The start

The first therapy session usually gets eaten by the basics. What brings you in, your history, your goals. A whole hour of it, for someone who waited months to book. Clarity does that part ahead of time, so you show up with a prep sheet instead of a blank page.

How it works

It starts with the easiest thing there is, talking. You ramble by voice or text and it sorts the mess into themes, worries, and goals. Then it suggests therapist matches, lets you rehearse the hard parts, and pulls it all into one sheet you can bring in.

What's real

It's a hackathon build and acts like one. Demo data, no real bookings, no pretend medical login. The interesting part, turning a pile of feelings into something clear, is fully real. The rest is clearly marked as a demo.

Stack

Built with Next.js App Router, with OpenAI handling transcription, the analysis, and the practice chat. Tailwind keeps it calm and clinical, staying out of your way.
